Well Google are at it again!

Here is a report about the latest google slap from Perry Marshall.

slap 3 didn't affect me at all, and most of my keywords have a "great" rating, and minimum clicks between 3 and 5 cents

I made these videos outlining this method.

The videos basically outline how to implement Perry's advice in a LARGE SCALE with hundreds and hundreds of keywords, in a couple hours.

It's the quickest way to get massive numbers of keywords with the cheapest possible cost per click:

A little warning on google slap 3 from the adwords blog:

So that means we have until Sunday before it necessarily hits us!

I like how it says &quot;you may see the minimum bid for your keywords increase or decrease based on the updated algorithm&quot;. That, to me, doesn't exactly sound encouraging.

anybody try my technique and have results to report? my accounts are still unaffected by google slap 3

Well this is pretty sweet. As of yesterday it looks like I actually got an increase in traffic instead of a decrease. Guess some other people in my niche got slapped instead of me

After being royally slapped in round 2 I did the one keyword per adgroup approach with a tailored opt-in page (the old style one too) and it appears to be OK still.

In fact like Trey traffic has increased and I have had a phenomenal past couple of days sales wise.

And my Adwords stats are great.

Loving the stuff Dan is teaching too - so that I am not so reliant on Google in future.

oh yea and in order to keep your keywords bids down and active, it helps to do some sort of dynamic keyword insertion as well so the keyword you're bidding on always appears on the target URL page

Hi there,

Are other's experiencing another Google Slap?

I opened another account with 1 keyword per adgroup to a php keyword specific opt-in page - and it hasn't flown.

I'm interested to hear other's experiences?

I'm thinking I might have to look at another form of landing page and would welcome getting some recommendations of what has worked etc.

BTY - moving to Yahoo &amp; MSN - already tested and doesn't perform in my niches.

I'm still having a lot of success avoiding slaps but the key is to set up the account slowly. Like put in 4 or 5 keywords that you can get AWESOME click through rates on (set up for search ONLY, not content network or search partners) and wait till you get some good history in the account before putting more keywords in there.

I've also had a couple times when I just COULD NOT get keywords activated. When I talked with google about it it seems that the keywords just have too much negative history with OTHER advertisers and they simply don't let people advertise on those terms or something. Weird.
