So I found this link http://underscorebleach.net/jotsheet/2006/05/move-blogger-to-wordpress and just wondered if anybody who has moved a blog over to Wordpress has done it this way?

It seems a little complicated but if this explanation of how I should do it is the closest thing to perfect then I'll follow it - just thought I'd ask before I tackle it.

That's a pretty comprehensive tutorial there Bambi! I have to say though, depending on what you want to do it's really overkill.

I've done a few Blogger to Wordpress transitions, and all I did was import my posts from the Blogger one to the Wordpress one. Pretty simple.

If you're looking at redirects and such, then this tutorial tells you what to do very well. I just never bothered to do it. As far as I know, the old blogger blogs are still just sitting there, lonely, never being visited by anyone.

Phew...well I managed to move all my posts over from the old blog to the wordpress!

BUT I notice that not one link in my posts works...argh...is this a simple fix?

If it isn't maybe I'll just leave it alone for now and maybe you could help me on tommorow nights call - I'd better get off this computer and get a bit of work around the house done.

Well at least I managed to get this far by myself, I've always been too scared to attempt it because it seemed far too hard - I think once I get it all set up properly it will be a breeze. It's much more comforting have a wordpress blog that blogger can't shut down in a blink on me - that happened last year (B#$%^*@)!
